Agastyar, a vibrant personality across Asia, is the Father of Traditional Siddha Medicine (TSM). Cauvery River creation was believed as his contribution to Karnataka, hence Agastyar is in the heart of Kannadigas. A long ago, Karnataka State had Siddha Vaidyar Sangam. Due to the nonavailability of Siddha Medical Colleges, there were no Institutionally qualified Siddha doctors in the current generation.
